Following the latest Microsoft Windows updates, it is now impossible to use Internet Explorer in the normal way and you are forced to use "Microsoft Edge". This requires a bit of configuration to work with Valerus. The guide below is correct at the time of writing but maybe subject to change.
Open Edge and go to the Menu Button and select Settings from the list
Go to Default Browser Tab and set as shown - Add Internet Explorer mode pages
A new Window will appear - Add the App server IP address in the format http:// ?.?.?.? - This will be displayed as below
Browse to the App server and Download the player and install. You must shut down the web browser for this to install
Restart Edge and browse to the App server IP as normal. Alternatively if you see the IE symbol in the browser bar click on this
You can now set the page to use Internet explorer mode every time
