This Interface software was specifically written to meet the needs of a particular site but may also come in handy for similar applications where recording needs to be started/stopped via a switch.
Basically the client only wanted to record when a train entered the station and stop recording when the train left. The Train was triggering Industrial PLC equipment but could provide an N/O pair of contacts. The only problem is that ViconNet does not have a stop Macro command. Therefore the ADAM PLC Interface was written to send Start/Stop Macro commands via the ViconNet TCP PLC port.
Up to 4 Macros can be controlled via the ADAM 6050 Interface which will allow users to control ViconNet recording via a switch or other contact.
