Once IQmanger is installed, the ‘help’ option can be selected from it’s menu for a built in two page user guide. If cameras are on the local subnet, they should be able to be found by selecting ‘search local’; if not, select ‘search global’ and enter a range of ip addresses. A camera can also added by selecting Tools | Add Camera.
NOTE: the range must less than 25 IP addresses.
Once the cameras are listed, right click on a group of cameras that are of the same ‘family’ model (like IQA3x etc).
In the shortcut menu, select “Enter Management Password” and enter the mgmt password (‘system’ by default). Right click again and select ‘Upgrade Firmware’.

Troubleshooting Tips:
Up to 50 cameras can be upgraded at once, however start with upgrading 5 cameras at once to see what impact it has on the customer’s network and proceed from there.
In the lower left hand corner of IQmanager, a status indicator gives information about the progress of the update. IQmanager (details view) will reflect the new firmware when the upgrade is complete.
The recommended network connection is local Ethernet connection as it is more reliable than Wifi connections.
