needs to adjust time on cams works ok for NTP automatic time then sometime later it all reverts to defaults,, after 15 minutes losing the NTP setting?
VMS being used Turing NVR it relies on the camera time be set right for OSD the VMS does not have a timeline that shows the recorded time/date
NOTED to customer: I've not heard of any issues with time settings in the camera. This might be a side effect of incorrect wattage/ AF power the camera is using on POE. Camera requires BT POE power.
Using the manual setting of time and pointing the cameras to a time server, the camera holds time IF DHCP is being used then this relies on the network path and time sync is reliable for time.
My camera for testing is BT mode for power ( customer system had AF power )
My camera is BT mode for power
**manual time setup to a local time server on the network
OSD
network PC at 10.10.10.72 with its local windows time server enabled, camera time server is pointed to it
