This will review RTSP still images and RTSP stream to review in VLC media player. Valerus also produces a RTSP stream that can be seen in a Media player, under the Show ID option in Camera Resources.
Single static image can be retrieved from the camera with:

(http://192.168.2.85/cgi-bin/imgcap1.jpg, http://192.168.2.85/cgi-bin/imgcap2.jpg and http://192.168.2.85/cgi-bin/imgcap3.jpg for multisensors. )
Some applications use this to pull an image every, say, 100 millisecond to get M-JPG of 10 FPS. (like in the web interface > setup pages of the camera itself.
Alternatively, stream 3 of the camera is MJPG per default:
In VLC you can open a network stream with rtsp://ADMIN:PASSWORD@192.168.2.85/stream3_1
The video will appear in the scene, and if you pull up the Media Information, you can see the code is actually MJPG:
