Dear Valued Customer,
We’re issuing an important advisory regarding a critical firmware update for certain Solid State Drives (SSDs) used in some Vicon Server configurations. If not updated, affected drives may experience unexpected failure, potentially resulting in system downtime or data loss.
Who’s impacted?
A subset of SSDs in both Valerus and ViconNet servers—specifically from the Youngsville family—require a firmware update to maintain reliability. Due to variations in system integration, we cannot confirm which deployed servers are affected, so this applies to all customers operating Vicon servers.
What should you do?
Please follow the steps outlined in the official advisory letter to check your server and, if needed, update the SSD firmware to version DL7C.
