The Tool helps identify camera IP addresses that may have issues with their MAC address registration in the application server. This guide provides a step-by-step overview of how to use the tool effectively.

Instruction using the tool

Search duplicates mac addresses in the Logs:
- You don't have to in the logs anymore, just click on the button
under the step 1, for the tool to find any duplicate mac address in the system

Populated ip devices list:
- If logs are found, they appear in a list format in the Log Results section.
- Only the relevant IP addresses related to duplicate MAC address entries are displayed.

Device information:
By clicking the relevant ip address under the Log results, it will display information about the camera, such as the MAC and the SUID, which is a relevant information for to fix this common error.
- The information that shows are:
- Camera Ip : IP address that is copied from the Log result list
- Mac Address: This is the MAC that would show in the Valerus DB
- Arp Mac address: This is the result of a "ARP -a" result, and it will show the correct mac address from that device. If the device is not online, it will show in red with the text saying that the device is offline
- SystemUniqueID: This is the SUID that wwould show in the Valerus DB

FIX:
- Press the button
to replace the systemuniqueid value for the mac address value
- Once its complete, you will see a notification in the terminal below
- Press the button
