Surveyor HD – Cannot set privacy mask.

There have been some incidents where customers have been unable to set up the privacy mask on a Surveyor HD Dome. This can happen when using a non USA/UK browser due to a separator used in
Windows changing from a “,”  to “.” character depending on the regional settings.
So basically in Windows control panel go to your regional setting and change the Date to reflect as
U.S. format as shown in the Screenshot below. 

The privacy mask is created by the on board text generator and some characters are changed by the region settings causing the issue detailed above. 

This problem will only occur while configuring the Dome and not in general operation use.
