Is it possible to obtain an RTSP stream from an HD-Express?

Yes it is possible to get an RTSP stream from an HD-Express by sending the following requests:

Channel 1 First Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/main0
Channel 1 Second Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/second0

Channel 2 First Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/main1
Channel 2 Second Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/second1

Channel 3 First Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/main2
Channel 3 Second Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/second2

Channel 4 First Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/main3
Channel 4 Second Stream – rtsp://<IP ADDRESS OF HD EXPRESS>:5554/live/second3

In each case the request will respond with a log on prompt. Where the stream is to be integrated with another vendors software, the integrator will need to work out how to approach this with their own software but in tests with VLC player the following typically worked without having to enter the username/password separately:

rtsp://ADMIN:1234@10.0.0.53:5554/live/main0

The above tests were carried out with a 4 channel HD_Express but the same structure should also work for the 8 and 16 channel versions as well as the Express DVR.
