Tested on IPHONE 6 with iOS 10.3.2
Released VICON Version 2.0 ' mobile app ' downloaded 6/19/17 from Apple iOS app store.
1 - first uninstalled completely 1.9
2- download new version 2.0 from Apple App store
3- Setup user name / password / IP , select remember me.
. so far have not been able to get the app to freeze go black or other wise not ' operate'
. tested by sleep phone for 10 min - 20 mins
. take phone off network,
...note the prior layout won't return if phone is taken off network but login will work , may have to fully close app.
restart app login will work again.
. go to different app, go back to Vicon, still ok
As of now the ver 2.0 iOS Apple Mobile App seems OK.
UPDATE: APPLE IOS VICON MOBILE APP VER 1.9 HAS BEEN CONFIRMED OF AN ISSUE AS NOTED BELOW.
THIS IS IN REVIEW WITH ENGINEERING.
If needed the steps below may recover operation for a period of time.
Unfortunately the issue will recur again sometime later.
1- I have a client who Mobile APP gives a blank screen (ALL BLACK) after they login.
2- Customer does not see how to remove Vicon information from the iCloud.
Do you have any additional information on the steps to complete that step?
For both issues please review below.
Most current version is 1.9 ( as of 6/2/17 )
This also may be needed to reinstall or update the Vicon Mobile APP.
In the mobile device first turn off any backups for the Vicon app
Then delete the App
Other things to consider.
As you may know ICloud is your account you setup for ICloud.com directly with Apple.
To manage ICloud with your mobile device must have this account setup correctly ( login / username ) related to that account. Please confirm the ICloud account on at ICloud.com is functioning with the LOGIN you have setup on the Iphone
We tried again and you must be correct with the icloud lag. We uninstalled and removed the app data yesterday, reinstalled today and it worked.
