Please set up the camera as follows before adding to Valerus
Please note that this article is specific to the Vicon V9360 and V9360W models.
It is not relevant to the V9360-1 or V9360W-E series at the time of this writing.
Note the camera will require an ANY license and will show a vendor type stating: Company Name
Note that we recommend using a 720 or lower resolution stream in Valerus with these model cameras. We've had reports of frame loss issues at higher resolutions resulting in a green blocked out image. Since the camera is end of life there are no plans to correct this.
1. We recommend using the latest discovery tool which can be downloaded from http://www.vicon-security.com/Software/Vicon_Camera/V9360_V4.3.03_Utility.zip

3. From the discovery tool you will choose Device Settings and set the URL as follows:
This step may or may not be needed but no harm in doing it.
4. Please note the Valerus / Add Discovered devices does automatically discover this camera but if not you can add the camera manually as an ONVIF/Vicon device.

When providing the credentials to Valerus make sure you use the proper case for the root user. It is defaulted to admin all lower case.
Changing User ID and Password in v9360 for use in Valerus
Log in to camera.
Change the root user ID and password.
It will want to close the IE session, let it.
Log back into camera with new credentials.
Go to Setup – System and select save and reboot.
Once it is rebooted you can add it to Valerus.
Note: If the camera in already in Valerus you do not need to remove the camera.
Follow the above procedure and when finished go into Valerus and user the new credentials and it should allow it.
